:) One of the most fun to fly of all machines.
Easy to fly but tricky to really fly.
DO 228-202K

Max ramp: 6,230 kgs.
MTOW: 6,200kgs.
MLW: 5,900kgs.
Max ZFW: 5,590kgs.
Forward Locker. 90kgs.
Rear Locker. 150kgs.
These apply unless optional weight extensions have been fitted.
In that case the limits rise to 120kgs and 210kgs respectively.
I am sure that you can work out a Mark 1 eyeball operating weight from this information. I always used to work on about 220kts@ FL 100.
It doesn't much mind ice, can do 240kts to less than a three mile final and has no vices that I ever found. The Command seat is great with the door for ventilation and speedy entry and exit.
The aircraft is magic. It can take off grossly overweight and land across a reasonable runway-if you know what you are doing.
I flew it for about a thousand hours and loved nearly ever minute of the aeroplane. It is a true Barnstormer.

Regards and good luck.
If you want more information, happy to oblige.

Herewith a useful site concerning the Dornier 228. The technical details section of the website wasn't working a few minutes ago, but it will have the various weights for the 201 etc.

A great aircraft to fly, especially if you have to get low and slow on short final!
