A delightful time was recently had flying to Dundee - a beautiful airport I would recommend for a visit.

However the real highlight was a few hours roaming the Highlands in a float plane. You can land on any suitable loch and the scenery is stunning

glad to hear you enjoyed the highlands, its a beautiful part of the world to fly.
I could be wrong but I think we may have met, did you stop off in Oban about a month ago (maybe a bit longer)? I was one of two guys flying the red and white chipmunk en-route to Mull

Chippik - no not me I am afraid.

I did stop off for some fuel with the gentleman who owns the seaplane at Oban - very nice it was too with the silver service waiting to greet us!

The seaplane is available to anyone for dual instruction towards their seaplane rating - and I would thoroughly recommend it. I dont have any connection with the owner so I promise it is not advertsing - just a jolly good fun thing to do for anyone in that area.
