Hi

I'm going to be working near to Carrickfergus between September and December.

Does anyone know of anywhere that I can rent an aircraft?

I currently fly the PA28 and BE76. As well as looking for a single to explore the area I'd also like to hire a twin for trips back to England and to enable me to keep current.

Thanks for any information.

Hi there,

Newtownards is a lovely flying club all very friendly and very helpful!! Dont think they have a twin but do have Pa28s and C172s i think!

It really is a awesome place to fly over!!

Have fun!

Your best bet is probably Woodgate at Aldergrove. They have a few PA28's as well as an Aztec for your twin hire. The prices are quite competitive. You also have the benefit of flying out of a fairly large airfield with probably the most helpful controllers in the UK :ok:

You can contact them on (028) 9442 2789.

Thanks

I've been in contact with Woodgate. They only seem to rent PA28's so I guess it's Jet2 if I want to come back to Bournemouth at the weekends. (somewhat cheaper at least)

Thanks for the info.
