Would the STAR be a LOREL from the SW or would it be an ABBOT from further east?

Via MAY it's LOREL 2Q
ABBOT 1E is only for traffic -FL180 via RATUK

I'm sure I see this tfc on the CLN sector and so the arrival is therefore an ABBOT 1C

Does the CLN sector hand-over to Essex before it gets passed to LTN approach.?
As you've probably guessed, I'm planning to listen-in to the arrival.

CLN hand the tfc over to TC East DAGGA sector who then give it to Essex Radar and then Luton TWR.

Nearly right, simply insert Luton App between Essex and Luton Tower.
