Hi Nick,

I've got a copy of the AFE technical guide to both the C150 & C152.

If you are willing to sent £5 to the Pprune Fund and pm me your address, I'll send you whichever one you want.

This offer is open to anyone else who wants one of these guides.

eBay is usually your best bet, or North Weald sells some nice ones (that I may have had a hand in  ) - Aerbabe's yer gal to ask about those.

For that matter, pretty much any airfield will have variations upon a C152 checklist or after-market manual for sale.

Best of luck on your PPL training! You'll love it, especially in the 152.

I'm sure that your instructor will give you a copy of a checklist he/she would like you to use.

Although you may think that there would be just one way to 'check' an aircraft ... you'd be wrong. Every instructor has their favourite method of doing things and it's best to stick with that for now. If only to keep harmony!

But it is good to have some form of reference you can check up on, even if the order of things differs a bit from your instructors preference.

About to start my ppl Whereso? If at an approved organisation, they should have them on the shelf (albeit at a price)...how else could they teach you the full shauri?

Having said that, better £5 to the PPRuNe fund than in some scheming flying school's back pocket.

There's a Cessna 152 checklist available online here (http://www.atlasaviation.com/checklists/cessna-152/c152_checklist.pdf), and another here (http://www.mfs.com.au/Checklist%20-%20C152%20&%20A152%20(Cessna).doc).

No idea as to their accuracy, or applicability to the particular aircraft you will be flying, but it should be a good start.

Have fun!
