It's the middle of June now. Anyone know when Canadian winter ends and Spring begins? On the NAV Canada website they've been encouraging controllers to check back in Spring 2005. Hasn't that been and gone? :ok:

And before some miserable git starts, this is intended to be light hearted, not a serious jibe at NAV CAnada  :D

I would be VERY suspicous of Navcan's motives. The impliction that there are actual distinct seasons in Canada is an overstatment that treads very close to the edge of a blatant lie.
ANYONE who lives in Canada knows that the only seasons are Winter and Bad Sledding.
If Navcan would lie about this what else would they lie about?;)

In Alberta, the seasons are winter and construction.
In Saskatchewan, they are winter and dust storm.
In Manitoba, they are winter and 'skeeter (keep using the DDT Jerricho...).
In coastal British Columbia they are winter, no wait, spring, no wait, summer, oops no it's winter again, hang on, it's autumn now. That's all on the same day, of course. In the interior of BC, the seasons are winter and dope growing.
As for the rest of Canada, those damn liberal easterners can kiss my ***. Oops, these Alberta attitudes are catching...
