It went for £5705 in the end - still a bargain. Fun aircraft.

In passing, I notice that eBay UK has got rid of the AVIATION catagory that used to be under 'Everything Else' section, thus deprieving me (and Genghis?) of one of my favourite brousing areas. Aviation bit & pieces are now buried under all sorts of obscure catagories.
eBay USA has a whole Aviation section.
Is it worth our while complaining to eBay UK to get it reinstated?

All things aeronautical now seem to be under "Collectibles"/"Transportation"/"Aeronautica".
They've never quite known what to do with aviation stuff on there, and I'm not personally convinced by the "collectibles" tag, but all the usual seems to be there (http://listings.ebay.co.uk/Transportation_Aeronautica_W0QQfclZ3QQfromZR0QQsacatZ14049QQ socmdZListingItemList)
