Case 1: I own a light single on a PT C of A but don't utilise it much. What restrictions/conditions (ANO and other) would apply if I wanted to hire it to another PPL for £x pounds per hour?

Case 2: same as above but assume aircraft on N register.

You need to change the C of A to a new EASA Cof A and have it maintained to Public Transport standards. That will require a Certificate of Maintenance Review.

Windy 1 states that the aircraft is on a public transport C of A so no change is needed it should have been released to service with a CMR and CRS.

The new EASA C of A is issued at C of A renewal and so is not an factor untill then.

The most next most critical thing is insurance cover and how you intend to check that the pilots renting are fit to fly the aircraft.

On a PT CofA G-reg, insurance is the only legal factor in this case.

The other one is what sort of people you want to allow inside your nice aeroplane when you are not about :O

N-reg is a difficult area. Too many complications.
