After some time in the editing and collation stages the book, by Brian Piket and Pete Bish, is about the be published.
A special advance order price will hold until Monday 6th June when there will be a BOOK LAUNCH & MINI NOSTALGIA EVENING at the Marriott Meon Valley Hotel at Shedfield, near Southampton. Following similar lines to previous Heathrow Nostalgia evenings, the programme will start at 1900 BST in the ‘Charter Suite’, with complimentary teas / coffees, pay bar and plenty of time to reminisce and meet old friends.
Anybody connected with Heathrow operations - ATC staff, Aircrew, etc., will be most welcome to join the fun, tell a few hairy stories, etc.
