Flying to Paris Airshow in June

Hi all!

Now that i've got my PPL this week, i'm planning to fly with a friend (a more experienced ppl holder) to the Airshow in Paris, Le Bourget. Has anyone done this before and knows if there are special procedures in place (airspace restrictions etc.) during that time? Can anyone recommend a nice airfield not to far away from Le Bourget (i guess LB will be closed for GA Traffic during the airshow...)?

LBG no chance.

I have Flown into most of the Paris airfields.

Problem is getting to the centre of Paris.

Toussus
taxi to nearest Railway station

St Cyr
10min Walk up the hill outside the airfield
railway station in middle of town

Lognes
Taxi to Metro station.

Les Mureaux
Railway station nearby.

I've tended to use Pontoise for the Paris airshow.
