Flying Schools Near Fort Myers

[What a Loop]

Anyone recommend any near or around. Thought that whilst on holiday would maybe do some local site seeing.

On another note what is the status on the Visa, I have a FAA licences from previous visits, do I still need one if it is just for personal hire. Might be a dumb question but I rather stay on the right side of the FAA.

Beaver Aviation (http://www.beaveraviation.com/) is another option, but I don't think that they rent airplanes to tourist pilots. Still, it doesn't hurt to ask.

You will not require a visa for personal hire (including any necessary check-out). You only need a visa if you are doing flight training, i.e. training that will lead to an upgrade in your license (e.g., an IR, multi-rating, etc.).
