What is the distance between london and New York? How long would it take to fly there roughly? thanks

I make the great circle mileage between JFK and Heathrow to be about 3450 miles. How long it takes depends, of course, on how fast you're travelling. An average ground speed of 500 kts would mean about 6 hours. An average ground speed of 70 kts would mean about 43 hours. An average ground speed of 8000 kts would mean about 22 minutes. :O
