ETOPS

Captain Guy Bancroft-Wilson who died last week at the Biggin Hill Air Fair, left a wife Mandy and three young sons Sam, Josh and Daniel. British Airways flight crew and Guy's friends have set up a trust fund for the boys and I wondered if fellow Ppruners might be interested in contributing.

Cheques should be made payable to:-

Principality Building Society

Please add the account number 438548010 to the back of the cheque. The address is:-

Mrs P A Norman
Investors Dept.
Principality Building Society
PO Box 89
Queen Street
Cardiff
CF10 1UA
Wales

As, potentially, a large number of people could see this notice please feel free to send any amount however small. I'm sure Guy would appreciate the fact that the aviation community was able to rally round and help his family......

Thanks

PS For Captain PPRuNe - Danny its OK to move this thread at your discretion, just after maximum exsposure for a day or two.

ETOPS, just back from the funeral service.

Without wishing in any way to dilute any contributions, a trust fund was announced there for the children, but contributions to be made via the funeral directors.

It would seem a pity to run 2 together, if that is the case. Perhaps you could have a word with whoever and clarify the situation? I'm in the sim at sparrow crack tomorrow (again!).

Mike

The announcement came via a flight Crew notice on Compuserve so seems to be official - it was signed by "Monica"

Now I'm confused, should I cancel the cheque I have sent?

Is this Pukka?

Don't panic - if you sent a cheque to the fund I mentioned in my original post all will be well.

Many thanks to you and all those other Ppruners who have, as usual, responded magnificently..........

Situation clarified. The address given by ETOPS IS CORRECT. Any contributions sent via the other address notified at the funeral WILL BE forwarded to the address given by ETOPS.

Sorry to cause confusion - best interests at heart.

And back to the top!
