Any information on this aircraft would be greatly appreciated.
What are they like to fly? What is their reliability like, i have heard that many of them suffer from wing spar corrosion. Are parts hard to find, are they expensive, and are they maintenance heavy?

There was a report on them in one of last year's Flyer magazines.

One of my mates has flown one on a number of occasions. Speed and load capacity was not what one would hope for from a 200hp CSU machine.

I think he said you can only have 2 adults and a bit of luggage before you go overweight with any useful fuel loads.

TB parts are expensive.

Me (on the large side at 17.5 st.) + 3 smallish other adults

left a whole 9lbs spare for fuel :)

TB10 had ample lifting capacity

I wrote the flight test in Flyer last year that FD refers to.

The conclusions were broadly, that like the TB10, the TB200 is not the best performing aircraft for its engine size. The additional 20 horses do not result in any appreciable increase in either cruise speed or climb-rate - perhaps the only real value being the move from a carb engine to Fuel-injection.

Unfortunately, the TB200 has a lower useful weight than that TB10 and burns more fuel for any given power setting.

Not for nothing is it the least popular of the Tbs by an absolutely massive margin.
