Someone once told me the picture on the cover of the PPL Confuser, in which a light twin is just about to collide with a bigger aircraft, from the flight deck of which the photo was taken, is a genuine one. Does anyone know if that is the case? I guess it's just out of some morbid curiosity.........

The flight deck is from an advert in the back of most mags.

Thanx bar shaker,

I was doubtful it would have been used if genuine. I've not noticed the ad which uses the flighdeck photo, which would otherwise have answered my question

The photo was taken on the flight deck of a B727 in transit between Belfast and East Midlands. The light aircraft and warning light were added later. (Really)

Does that mean there won't be an edition of How To Avoid Mid Air Collisions - Confuser being published in the near future?

Never noticed the other aircraft...my edition is black - is it cos it's old (and maybe the pic is different?????)
