PPL Exams in Norfolk

Hullo All.

I am off to the US in July to complete JAA PPL/Night/IMC.
I would like to be able to at least sit a couple of the PPL exams before I go, so I can concentrate on the instruction & completing the remainder of the exams.

My question is this - could anybody recommend a school at Norwich in order to do these please? I don't really know the set-up to accomplish this - would I need to "join" the flying club in order to sit them? Which of the exams would you propose I sit and which I should leave? If the training you are doing in the US is JAA then there is absolutely no reason why you can't do the exams at any other school; if they tell you you can't it's a crock of horse-sh1t.

I was in a similar situation two years ago and I did three of the exams in advance at a different school from the one at which I was going to train. The exams that are easiest to get out of the way without any actual flying experience are Air Law, Human Factors, Meteorology and possibly Navigation.
