Tommy Vance has died at the age of 63 following series
of strokes. Tommy hosted The Friday Rock Show on Radio One
for many years and gave fascinating detail on rock/heavy metal
acts past, present and future. He was The Voice on metal.
He will be very sorely missed.
Rest in peace, Tommy.

I am ... and I like Tommy Vance a great deal, but don't understand why it should be announced on PPrune? Has he an aviation connection?

As much as we all liked tommy as a rock dj may i pose to you the following question: What is the f'in connection to Pprune, let alone atc issues.
