Can anyone please let have any information on / contact details for this airfield? It is conveniently close to somewhere I need to visit and I woudl like to take a Yak 50 into there if possible.

Many thanks.

Which Orchard House. Roughly where in the UK?

There was once an Orchard Place, but that's a bit big for a Yak 50!

Better known as Chicago O'Hare (ORD/KORD)

It is on the half mil Southern England chart, 7ish miles north west of Lakenheath AFB in Norfolk, about 5 miles south of Downham Market.

Thanks.

SC,

try calling the SATCO at Lakenheath, they will probably know..but make sure you have a TXPDR before calling them lol

Thanks Zlin 526. I will try that. But surely someone must have been there or know the owner? I don't have a copy of Lockyers - perhaps I should invest. Does anyone who has a copy know if Orchard House is in there?

Thanks

SC, there's no Orchard House in the current Lockyear's, I'm afraid.

The other source that I often find useful for farm strip contact details, Navbox ProPlan, can't help on this occasion either.

Lark Engine Farmnouse is about where you say, I've sent details, there is also a strip at Southery a bit nearer to Downham market, also sent numbers for this.
