If you scroll down to "Unusual modesty" you'll find some observations about how much Ryanair and EasyJet are spending on maintanence.

Any thoughts?

And no, I am not a curious journalist. I am a curious punter.

Almost certainly down to differences in their accounting systems I'd guess, along possibly with some major maintenance expenses coming up at different times.

It’s worse than that, the Ryanair figure is quoted in Euro. One heck of an accounting trick if it is that, keeping in mind that 29K Euro might cover slightly more than an “A” check, it would not cover the annual routine maintenance requirements!
