Hi All,
A friend has offered me a chance to fly his centreline thrust multi engine Cessna 337 here in the UK (G Registered).
My Multi Engine rating is on my FAA CPL/IR and I haven't ported it over to my JAA PPL/IMC yet. The added complication is that I haven't had an FAA sign off for anything over 200 HP yet (as required by FARs - my Multi was done in a 180 Seminole) and the C337 engines are 210 a piece without Turbos.
Although I will be porting the multi engine rating over to my JAA PPL, in the mean time I will be able to fly the Cessna 337 Day VFR only using the privilages over my FAA CPL/IR.
So my question is does anyone know of any nice friendly FAA CFI / CFII's here in the UK that I can talk to in regards to getting signed off on an aeroplane with an engine greater than 200 HP? I guess they will also require access to such an aeroplane as well.
Best wishes,
Charlie Zulu.
