NZ ATC salaries start from around $30,000 topping at about $68000, to this add another 33% or there abouts for penal/shift rates and overtime. The NZ $ is worth about .30p or .48c US.

Cleared 2 land et al,

I hope when you are all ATCO 2s earning megabucks you'll still stoop low enough to talk to us ATCO 3s!! :)

I'll have given up the ghost and gone somewhere else by the time I get to go onto the ATCO2 salary

You ATCO2's.......assuming you work for the biggest ATC provider in the UK, just wait until we get privatised. Two seperate scales just mean more admin costs! Why not just have the one - loads more ATCO3's!!!!!
Sorry. Seriously though, look above and tell me if the NZ pay doesn't look a bit on the low side?!

Hey..We've been trying to tell the administrators that we are underpaid too, we eeven tried a strike or two but the international market only applies to those with an MBA or PR qualification.
Airways NZ's CEO spends more time in the UK than Godzown these days so if you happen to bump into him sometime, would you tell him for me?
