ATC Issue?

I'm not 100% but I think the first flight is in March this year, possible 31st, but can't confirm.

What spacing will be required for this plane on t/o and landing? will is be similar to the 747?

Funny this should be mentioned, as when Virgin started using those long A340's, I had a couple of wake vortex encounters when the following medium a/c was easily 8 miles (if not more) in trail and recieved a nasty bump. Maybe a "Super Heavy"?

Guess vortex will just be HEAVY there can't be much between the A380 and those big antonov monsters. I presume wake problems vary with the wind etc, got some really nasty wake vortex running into lambourne in a 319, we were following a 747 and it was about 8 miles ahead, en route vortex sep is supposed to be 5 miles in that situation but we took a hell of a bump.
