I know this is a bit of a strange question, but what is the correct term in English for the walkway between boarding gate and aircraft. Is it a finger? Mobile loading bridge? Walkway?
Many thanks!

After some checking, I think "airbrdige" is the most suitable term

Jetway or jetbridge are two terms I hear a lot. Also "gangway" is quite popular in Germany.

The only ones I ever use/hear are airbridge and/or jetty.

Back in my day, the 'finger' was the bit that stuck out from the terminal housing the gates. For example, LGW as rebuilt in the '60s had 3 fingers (or piers). I've always heard the tunnel thingy referred to as the jetway, or less often the airbridge.

The term you might have heard is probably: "Finger Dock"
