Does any one know if they employ ATSAs in Dubai? If not who do they use as support staff?

Not 100% sure but as far as i know all support staff are from the Indian sub-continent. Much cheeper(if this is the right word?) to employ. Me thinks most of their admin staff are also from the same countries.
Suggest you get the phone number for the ME from Flight around a month ago and give em a ring.

Unwise is quite right, all the atsas and admin staff are all Phillipino or from the sub-continent. You don't want to even hear what they get paid!!

Sorry it's not better news.

unwise is correct. ATSAs are from the sub-continent area. Employment is direct hire by the Dubai Civil Aviation Department, and salaries are somewhat one the 'low' side, as are the benifits.

My views are personal and DEFINITELY don't reflect those of my employer!

Thanks for your replies. Don't suppose anyone has a rough idea how much they earn?

Just thought I'd look at all my options before the AG does it for me !!

Try Eurocontrol. They've just hired five of which two are ex UK ATSAs. For further info call 00-31-43-3661234 and ask for Human Resources.
