VYT1,

I don't, but the man who took part in the MR story does do the IAT at Fairford, and a great raconteur he is too !

Cheers

Well I think I got the story about 80% correct, and at least exposed the facts to a larger audience. It would be great to have a piece of the broken up GAVMR as a trophy for us Heathrow boys who knew and loved her for so long. I wonder if anyone could have a word in the appropriate ears down at EGHH?

Try Geoff Berryman, SATCO at EGHH ex Gatwick controller.

At a risk of being a spotter.....

...saw the mighty beast today at the back end of Bournemouth. It is a sad mess and has been canabalised without mercy!!!

It isn't even behind the wire anymore. I drove right up to it. Therefore, if you did want a bit, just give European a call.

It is in the old European colours and if you want a photo just e-mail me.

Will (hopefully) appear on here soon:

WebCreator - typical journalist on that web site. Made an utter mess of the story and to aviation professionals it must look appalling. NEVER trust a journalist...
