Is it just me or do I need a new calculator (or abbacus)
The AG bought 49% of shares for £800m (correct me if I'm wrong).
So how does our 5% of shares for employees equal £500 each.
Must be all those extra employees hidden away working at CAA house!

Let me try my calculator....
£800M =46%
1%= 800/46 = £17.4M
5% = £17.4M*5 = £87M
5500 staff in NATS so...
Each staff member should get £87M/5500 = £15,800
nope, my calculator must be wrong too!!
Done up like a Kipper Guv!!

Not accountants, are you boys and girls.
Of that £800Million, £900Million of it is debt.
That means just under £10 million of that is associated with the Employees and they will be responsible for that.
So 5500 employees ...that equals £1818 each.
Add on to that the fact you are getting £500 "initial bribe payment" and you will each owe the Gov approx. 2300 quid.
Except of course for the LATCC (AC) boys and girls. You owe (approx) £10600 each to be returned to 2-Jags in a large wheelbarrow.
I think you get the idea.
I can't believe people accuse the union of smoke and mirrors all the time.....
People who think they are getting something for nowt' are in for a hell of a shock.......
sorry.........
