Stapleford is 122.8.

My ou of date Pooleys says N.Weald is 123.52 but it might have changed. You might find it on www.ais.org. (http://www.ais.org.)

~In the air~ I see that you're a PPL, now doing your night rating. Are you asking for these frequencies just to make conversation, or do you intend to fly there or in the vicinity?
Whatever, I hope you dont rely on this site for all your planning!
If I were your instructor I'd take you round the back & give you a stiff talking to. http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/tongue.gif

hehehe...

Na na na, I just bought a scanner to sharpen up my R/T skills before letting myself lose in and around England, thats all!

I'm used to all those American CTAF's you see, therefore I need some sort of an idea! get me?

Stapleford is indeed 122.80MHz - now only a/g, not AFIS.

And you won't find North Weald in www.ais.org.uk (http://www.ais.org.uk) - it's not licensed.
(or so I think...)

ITA,
If you want to sharpen up your RT try Stansted, whoops! sorry LONDON Stansted.

APP : 120.625
DIR : 126.950
TWR : 123.800

The RT there is more "by the book" than at the other places you mentioned.

PS - No offence to the Air/Ground blokes at North Weald or Stapleford, they do a bloody good job with what they've got.

Cheers,
LXGB.
