A gentle reminder to all RAF, RN & MOD ATCOs, that the CAA is withdrawing the ‘Military APC’ at the end of this year. So anyone planning to leave the services to pursue a civil ATC career and wishing gain credit for previous experience, will need to apply very soon.
As long as your application is received by SRG before year end, you will have a further 12 months to do an ‘Assessment of Prior Competence’, which could grant you a substantial reduction on a later civil rating course. After the Mil APC has gone, it’ll just be credit for Met & Nav.
For the price of stamp, you might save a few £s. Remember though - Post early for Christmas :ok:
