Guess what!

Two Canadians have just had almost all their convictions quashed on appeal in the Dublin High Court . The appeal was upheld because the alleged offences occurred in mid-atlantic and were therefore outside the Irish Jurisdiction .... i.e. outside Irish controlled Air Space ......

two charges of threatening and abusive behaviour for which the men were each fined 500 Euro (about 400 dollars) still stand (presumably they did that bit on landing in Shannon!)

I would therefor presume they will be arrested & prosecuted the next time they set foot on US soil? The basis of thier defence being that their offence took place there then.
