Telex Airman Headsets

These things look really neat but a bit flimsy. Are they any good for GA or are they too noisy?

Basically they look like a personal stereo headset with a really cool mic. Surely they must be for use in a shiny jet rather than a C152. Any comments?

They are no good at all in a GA aircraft. They work fine but there's no noise attenuation and therefore no protection at all.

I have a set in the Citation I fly. Great for that, but for the Aztec it's back to my 25db attenuating Sigtronics thank you very much.
