Looks like the tatics to reduce the present pay scales are underway. I believe the current pilot's first year pay is approximately 4700 Euro pm.

Any ACN guys know what's happening?

I understand that the CHC Global people are in town at PHC. Love to know what they are thinking.

Don't they only pay for time spend "in country" ? Wouldn't that equate to 30K a year ?

Think they pay an annual salary divided by 12, so you get the same every month. Not a lot though is it...........??

Well, ACN have just had a number of pilots resign, so they need them for Nigeria. I'm not sure if the contract in Sudan is confirmed yet, but the numbers you quote would equate to 5 pilots on site on a 6/6 roster, which is what they'd need for 2 Dauphins.
CHC have been to Malabo and Cameroun as well as Nigeria, but no word seems to be coming out yet as to what they want - maybe just a look-see at what they've taken on. Rumour is that they're looking very hard at ACN numbers in Lagos.
The Schreiner contract in Cameroun is up for renewal soon, so if there are going to be any changes to contracts or pay that would seem like the time they'd be done.
The training captain in Cameroun is to replace Bob Evans who's now back in Nigeria and I guess will also shortly be looking for A109 and S76 captains if what we hear about Caverton is true. Their A109 has had a couple of flights out of Lagos recently, so I guess it's now operational.
More from the swamps oon ;)
