There is currently a permanent NOTAM, don't have the exact wording here with me, but basically it says that Essex Radar frequency 120.62 withdrawn. Someone at ATC told me that 120.62 has not been withdrawn but is now called "Stansted Radar". This also appears not to be the case. Essex appear to be alive and well, so what DOES that NOTAM mean? Perhaps I read it incorrectly, but I have read it at least a dozen times now and it still seems not to make any sense!
Can anyone shed light on it and perhaps provide the exact wording?
Thanks
