Hello Guys & Girls,
I am presently doing a studies for an Aircrash Investigation - Lecture @my university.
Due to our lecturer, somebody from the german BFU (kind of the german NTSB), the freighter-ops is one of the most dangererous areas of operations due to several factor, the first is Human failure (= Pilot error)
FedEx is pretty remarkable in this case, within the last 8 years they lost 4 MD-10/MD-11s and maybe 2 B727 (No exact Info if the Acft have been W/O)
Can anybody tell me more about the FedEx-Hiring, Requirements for Pilots and their Operations...?
Maybe I can figure out a certain "Pattern" about all 4 Accidents I know.
Thanx for any answer
Phil
