Light aircraft crashes in field
A light aircraft has crashed in a field in Wiltshire which is thought to be used as a private airstrip.
Two men were on board the plane when it crashed at 1530 BST on Thursday at Manor Farm, Wadswick near Corsham.
One of the passengers managed to get out of the aircraft, and has non life-threatening leg injuries.
Police said the second man is in a more serious condition with head injuries. Both passengers were taken to the Royal United Hospital for treatment.
They were first attended on the scene by paramedics brought in by the Air Ambulance.
An investigation will be carried out by aviation authorities and police.
