Hi there everyone,
I am one of many wannabees out there. At present, I have the grand total of 1 hours flying, but I will be starting a PPL course in March 2001. From there, I will go on to the modular ATPL route straight after.
I am from Birmingham, and for 19 years lived within site of the tower at BHX. I have a strong interest in all things that fly, particularly the airport itself. The reason for my post is to ask if tower visits are something that can be arranged, or if airport procedures prohibit that? I would love to be able to build a better understanding of how the area around Brum is controlled, and any help would be appreciated.
