NATS Apptitude tests,,Glasgow Nov 20th.

Hi all, just got my test date through for student controller (20/11/01) up in Glasgow..I've read all the enclosed literature and am currently reading as much as I can off the net. But I would really like to know from people who have sat the tests, what it is like and if there is anymore preparation that I can do? Also if there's anyone else wanting to travel up to Glasgow (0n the Monday!) from Newcastle for the tests on the 20th...drop me an E-Mail ;-)

all i would say is practice the test they sent you and make sure you know the booklet inside out - it is out of date but the questions are based on it.

The group will be divided into 4 groups and you will be there all day, when i was there you could claim you travel and lunch on expenses!

There will be a maths test, spacial ability test and checking test all timed. There will also be a personality questionaire that has no time limit for answer. Lastly there will be the motivation test which will be taken from the booklet. I did mine quite a few years ago but i don't think it has changed.

There will also be an atco there - probably from Glasgow that will answer and questions - this is a no holes barred Q & A session and will not be reported back to your interviewers if you get through - so any worries/queries should be aired here - you will get honest answers!
