Hi all...
Will be going into EGHI next weekend and wondered if, (as with Cardiff EGFF) there is a flying school where you can park and pay landing fee's etc...?
Any advice much appreciated
Many thanks

You park where they tell you and you get escorted off the pan to pay! (well i did when i last went - a lady mini bussed me off) You pay at the bottom of the tower(?) IIRC - bit like an Ops area

There are 2 flying schools at Southampton but there is no room near where school aircraft park and limited parking elswhere. PPR is mandatory as I believe is handling. The landing and parking fees may be a bit expensive too, your best bet is to ask when you ring up for PPR.

As I can't be bothered to go downstairs and get the phone.......does anyone know off-hand how much it costs to land an aircraft at Bournemouth these days with the new 'mandatory handling' regime? (A/C less than 1 tonne)

Southampton is £25 for a 2 seater Robin...i'm guessing Bournemouth is similar!

For PPR at SOU, contact Airfield Operations on 02380 627102.
Current landing fees, incl. 2 hours free parking (based on MTOW, excluding VAT) are:
Up to 1mt - £16.39
1-1.5mt - £24.45
1.5-2mt - £32.60
2-2.5mt - £40.75
That should cover most singles...
