Just completed my FI(R) and looking around for instructors jobs, to hour build rapidly.

Can anyone give me some up to date info on what its like working for Cabair as a PPL instructor?

Or better options if you know of them!

Also what is the average number of hours you think is reasonable to instruct daily without overdoing it? - on yourself and student that is!

Thanks

I can't tell you about Cabair, but I'm trying to allow as much time with a student as possible, generally a 2 hour lesson for a 1 hour flight. Especially useful at the beginning when it takes 20 mins to brief, 20 mins for a walkround and 20 mins to SUTTO.

In my experience after 5 hours instucting
Brakes off to Brakes on you will be tired

Of course it depends on what your teaching

If its Dual Navigation its less stressful than circuits where workload is higher
