10/10 for this one. Beats the rubbish I have seen lately from other airlines . .. .<a href="http://www.monarch-airlines.com/brand.asp" target="_blank">http://www.monarch-airlines.com/brand.asp</a>. .<a href="http://www.ananova.com/business/story/sm_544012.html?menu=business.latestheadlines" target="_blank">http://www.ananova.com/business/story/sm_544012.html?menu=business.latestheadlines</a>

I was only thinking yesterday about posting a thread to see when ZB were gonna change their livery. Very smart, and I agree with you, beats the rest by far.

"It will take about two years to repaint the airline's 21 planes".. .. .Blimey, what are they going to use in the meantime?. .. . <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" />

LTN Man Having seen the very first bmibaby painted up at NWI, I think it beats the pants off anything else. I laughed myself silly and of course it achieved what was intended.....to be noticed. I think bmi get the plaudits for all their livery, very "now.com" Monarch I was frankly disappointed, a bit 1950s but ANYWAY it's better than what they have now. Airtours I think have made the biggest mistake the new Mytravel is hideous....I really think their blue tails are very smart. . .Still girls are always fussy about these things

Much better than before and streets ahead of that migraine inducing Britannia scheme. Jane, the MyTravel look better in the flesh than expected, the orange is dark enough to carry it off I think.

Looks very nice I think, can't say that about very many recent livery changes. Our new one (bmi) is horrible IMHO, and the baby one not much better. The prize must go to MyTravel though, what on earth were they thinking!, the old one was about the best of all the charter airlines, the new one is appalling.

Wow, this was out of the blue!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> . .They say they were working on it for a year but they kept it awfully quiet!. .. .Anyway, bravo to Monarch for the first livery change in a long time that actually makes sense and looks good. At least they kept the name and the basic idea (the spotty M). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" /> . .. .That will honestly look good on an A330 won't it. Good job, Monarch! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="cool.gif" /> . .. .Seems the first flight to take off with this livery will be on 22 March, and their to-be-delivered aircraft will have it, and then over the next few years it will gradually be phased in. They say this will happen in line with their aircraft's maintainance repaints, so they aren't losing money. Good plan, looks great.. . <img src="http://www.ananova.com/images/business/monarchair_newlogo410x306.jpg" alt="" /> . . <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="cool.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="cool.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="cool.gif" /> . .SFly. . . . <small>[ 15 March 2002, 19:46: Message edited by: SFly ]</small>

I wonder what they paid for this "new" very unoriginal livery? Still, I suppose it is an improvement on the old one.

VERY overdue - dropped the bumblebee image at last <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" /> . .. .It's very bmi, is it not? - with all those 'shamu'-like wavy lines ????!. .. .Glad to see uniform change in progress too - remember the 'Rupert bear' trousers the stewards wore in the early 90's - vile !

Nice and classy. Very nice indeed. Makes you wonder WHO were at the board meetings at certain OTHER airlines when the person help up a picture and said "How about this for our new colour scheme and livery?"

This make over has style and yet is stil instantly "monarch" unlike that red banana and spot or "my airline" two rebrands that totaly lack class.

Very catching. I was saying the other day,to my mate in the other seat, that the present scheme is looking a bit dated now. Keeps the Spotty M trademark and modernises the a/c. What more could you ask for? . .. .Nice one <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" />

I think it is the most reasonable combination of the fasion for waves and certainly beats all others.. .. .That said, I have never liked the wave style. In this, I am very old fashioned and prefer the lines to follow the lines of the machine.. .. .Also, one more vote to the Tui scheme that make sit the worst ever seen. I am not sure that I want to be pax in a machine that has a toilet painted on the tail <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="tongue.gif" />

Well done Monarch! Wish I could say the same about our new paint job - still, I don't have to look at it when on the inside, but our old scheme was fine. But hey, I don't have the "big picture". .. .Now, because there are sad people who work for my company who trawl through this site and report back about what we write:. .. ."We have a new livery which reflects the needs and expectations of todays discerning customer. It promotes pride and says "quality" - well done all those involved in its design.". .. .OK?
