Rumour has it that Huntings are recruiting for Barkston Heath (Lincs) and Church Fenton (N. Yorks). QFIs preferred but they are also taking FIs or even AFIs for training to QFI standard. Pay c. £12K in training (3 weeks to 3 months, depending on experience), £18K during 6 months probation (B2 QFI standard) then £27K+ (straight to £27K for those with right experience). Pension etc after 6 months. Monday to Friday, 39hr week. Flying Slingsby T67M incl. the 260hp version. Elementary training for RN, Army and RAF students. Min requirements CPL/FI rating: but training seems to possible for someone who doesn’t have all the requirements. (Recent exceptions have been recruits with an unrestricted BCPL, QFIs with no AFI/FI on licence and out of date IR, and a BA 744 F/O who’s flying for them part-time).
