Anybody know anything about the A320 Acoutic Upgrade Package?
Is it Chapter 4 certified?

As you know only Boeing is capable of designing aircraft that are chapter 4, the 737NG is much quieter than the A320, also all the 747/757/767/777 fleets are much quieter than the A330/A340.
Airbus I believe is unable to meet chapter 4 requirements, but are looking at meeting the "chapitre quatre" from the DGAC.
By far the quietest aircraft I have heard are the sonic cruiser and the 7E7, have not seen or heard of one ever being involved in a noise complaint.

Thats funny, as far as I have been told Airbus is the only one that has applied for Chapter 4 recertification of ALL their aircraft.
With the FAA being the most proactive government agency in the world, Boeing can't even apply for Stage 4 until January 2006.
