Interesting story. Anyone know why TB owed John Day one?

Blair overruled watchdog on RAF chief's defence job (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml;sessionid=BTVJJQLOVYNM3QFIQMFCM54AVCBQYJVC?xml=/news/2004/07/26/ndef26.xml&sSheet=/portal/2004/07/26/ixportaltop.html)

Scud-u-like,

Did you notice on the Telegraph link that your post refers to, the www.thankyoutony.com link?

I thought at first it was some kind of joke, but it appears to be a serious US website, for americans to say thanks to TB for his, and the UK's(?) support to the US of A.

It also looks as though it is a direct line to No. 10 for all comments........ some scope there then :ok:

May be his consolation prize as he was passed over for CAS for some reason or another.

Just a guess.
