Hiya,

Does this model work on GA a/c, anyone try it and can comment on it?

The plug is likely to be a mil spec one rather than the usual twin jacks required on GA aircraft but you can get an adapter lead for that.

However I am pretty sure that you will have problems as the mike on that one is low impedance and you will need high impedance in GA.

You could get an adaptor for it from Headset Services Ltd at Shoreham Airport. The adaptor allows the use of mil spec headsets on a civ spec radio.

The relevant page is at: http://www.headsetservices.com/prod_hsl/hsl_converters.html

Be warned, they're a bit on the expensive side, but they're the only people I know who make these items.

If DC13.4s weigh 13.4oz, then using the same logic, DC-10-76s will weigh about 1/3rd of a stone. I hope you have a strong neck.
