Hi ALL :D

Some quick questions:
How many flight crew is needed to operate one airbus 320 or boeing 737??

Is there a difference in cargo/pax how many crews you must need?

THANX!!!!

Kerropi,
Can't answer the first part because it depends on how hard you're working that aircraft.

There's no difference between pax and freight requirements.

Depends on the airline

BA are renowned for having a very high number of pilots per aircraft....

most airlines use around 6 crews per a/c to cover legal days off, sbys, flights, sick etc.

in terms of cabin crew, legal min is 1 crew member per 50 seats on board.

hope this helps.

With the high number of Days worked and sectors flown by the Pilots in BA (Long and Shorthaul, LHR and LGW), I'd say that your 'very high number' is somewhat misplaced.............;) ;)

Not if you compare it with other airlines (particularly low-cost)...........

It's not bullsh1t - It's fact.
