I would always recommend David Scouller at Old Sarum Flying Club., Salisbury. Very good teaching. One of the 'old school' boys - ex RAF ETPS/CFS, but don't let that put you off. You will certainly come out a half decent instructor. And he will not waste your money. He has so much enthusiasm for his age.

Andrewsfield or Earls Colne both do FI courses. They're both always on the hunt for new blood aswell. Try Bill Stitt at Earls Colne. He's the CFI.

Old Sarum definately the best I know, however your geographics must play a part. If you are down south you will not find better than David. Best of Luck.

Eagerbeaver.

As you live in Cambridge have you thought of Bourn, the Rural Flying Club. Their CFI, Lindsey Brown is one of avitions true characters and a superb FIC instructor....give them a try.
