Folks, giving some serious thought to doing a 737 300 endorsement and was wondering whether it is worth doing due to my lack of experience on fast turboprops. I have 1700 hours of which just over 1000 are twin. 200 Hours multi turbine command and currently flying IFR/VFR in ac such as PA31 and BN2 Mk111. I consider myself to have normal flying aptitiude - not top gun but not an idiot either. Do I stand a reasonable chance of passing the course ok? ( I know there are never any guarantees!)

Cheers

Have confidence in yourself. Your experience looks good, and people have gone onto 737s with less. Approach with an open mind and learn new ways. If it is of any interest, I did my twin training on Beechcraft Barons. I then converted to VC10 with some 300 hours. I found the PA28>Baron conversion more traumatic than Baron>VC10, though many of my colleagues disagreed. The 737 is a lovely little fluff jet- you will have no trouble hacking it.
