Hi, I'm planning a trip to Lausanne soon which would take me through a 'Special Use Area' in the Jura mountains, from Ground to 9500.

Can anyone tell me what it is/they are, restrictions etc? I haven't come across them before, the chart legend doesn't help and the bottlang trip kit I've ordered doesn't arrive until shortly before I leave. If I need to replan I'd like to do it asap.

Thanks.

Try "LS_ENR_5_1_en.pdf" from the EAD site:

EAD Explorer (http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/eadexplorer/)

Does any of the areas there fit?

M609,

Unfortunately I can't access it because of the browser I'm running and as it's company IT kit and security I can't get round that. Thanks anyway.

Very few people seem to be able to use the Eurocontrol site.

Drop me an PM walkabout, and I will email the pdf file to you, no sweat!

I tried accesing the EAD site for ages and e-mailed them with complaints. I even exchanged niceties with "Boris", but with no result.

The site is primarily targeted at large corporate users (airlines), and the GA community is poorly supported.

In the end, I found the solution was to use Netscape Navigator 7.1 - that did the trick.

Also, bypassing proxy settings doesn't seem to work - you have to disable it.
