Interesting...I think an A320 and YMMB would be mutual exclusive.

The A320 (along with 737 and 717) is a 4C aircraft and requires a 45m wide runway. I can't imagine a dispensation to operate from a 30m wide runway (1300 metres long) is 'JetSafe'.

He is currently working full time as a LAME contractor at Avalon on QF 747's.
His mission statement on his website has changed many times, notably the absence of Vic Govt backing and financial interest of "global giants such as IBM".
His picture on the PSE site would have been taken at least 20 years ago, maybe more. You would struggle to pick him in a line up based on that picture.

Jens generally vanishes from radar when asked the hard questions. May he can finally put the record straight and provide an up to date pic on his website?

30m is used at many airports, don't know about A320.

I am an Ex An driver in Europe and am operating an A320 with a 180 all economy config into 30mx1600m water both ends. 30m ops been around a long while for A320 Ansett had approval too. As for this venture????

With regards to the runway width, it shouldn't be a drama.

We had the same thing decades ago, with the Electra into places like Weipa, only restriction was it had to be a Captain's landing.
