Can someone please remind me of the approprate speeds in a C152/C150 which are taught for PPL.

Well if you can't find it anywhere else, it's all in the flight manual which you of course as a conscientious young pilot, check religiously before you step into any new aeroplane ...

(Speeds quoted are in knots, and relate to a C152 non aerobat)

Stall speed clean 40
Stall speed landing configuration 35
Rotate 55-60
Best rate climb 67
Best angle climb 55
(on short field T/O, flight manual specifies 54 knots with 10 deg flap)
Normal approach 65
Flapless approach 70
Glide speed 65
Max flap operation 85
Max normal operation 111
Never exceed 149

Never Exceed Speed: 172
Max. Structural Speed: 125
Manoeuvring Speed: 108
Caution Range (Yellow Arc):125-172
Normal Operating (Green Arc): 40-125
Max Flap Op Speed: 85
Stall(0 Flap):41
Stall(15 deg Flap): 38
Stall(30 deg Flap): 35
