The fat ugly bloke in the back seat of the white/green biplane is a mate of mine!

I had seen that thread and a couple of others, but was surprised that they all fizzled out after 2 posts.
Obviously not an event that is attracting PPRuNers!
I'll be joining in the first 100 meters or so at Sywell on Friday morning, before a swift turn to the North!

A big thanks to Bob Manners for organising the rally.
Particularly the visits to RAF Coltishall, RAF Kinloss and RAF Valley, all the bases made us very welcome, and were very interesting.
Scotland was a dissapointment, weather not allowing us to stay on track, so Oban was missed.
stiknruda, last time we saw 'The fat ugly bloke in the back seat of the white/green biplane' was at Lands End with a few problems, hope he made it okay.
We actually finished on Thursday, a day ahead of the rest, so we dont know who finished at Old Buck Friday.
Once again thanks Bob, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Yakker,
Was at the finish to meet DC. He had probs in Gloucester but sorted those out and I inspected the damage at OB (I do lots of fabric repair work on that aeroplane!)
Seems like you all had a great time and heard some epic tales!
Quite an acheivement, I think, especially if one considers the less than perfect wx that you endured.
Well done!
